For whatever reason, I've always avoided Chevy products. Didn't care for them when I was growing up in Michigan. My parents had a few Chevy vehicles that were always breaking down and falling apart. In those days, quality control was lacking at Chevy. Even the Volt effort is a half baked product. Why not make it a CNG/electric. Why would I pay a premium for a Volt only to find myself getting so-so gas mileage.
Today's announcement of the upcoming Chevy Cruze is probably the first car from Chevy I'd test drive and consider for my next car. The VW Golf version 7 is my first choice as of yesterday. Let's see what this one might do.
